At Mavs Learning Lab, we believe every child has the ability to learn, grow, and succeed when they are given the right support.
Founded by elementary educators, Mavs Learning Lab was created to provide children with a learning environment that feels personal, encouraging, and engaging. Our goal is not simply to help students complete their homework—we want to help them understand why they are learning, build confidence in their abilities, and develop skills they can carry into the classroom and beyond.
We offer personalized tutoring in math, reading, writing, and more for elementary school students. Each session is designed around the individual learner, meeting students where they are while challenging them to reach their next level.
At Mavs Learning Lab, learning doesn't have to feel overwhelming or boring. We make room for curiosity, creativity, questions, and plenty of "aha!" moments. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to strengthen foundational skills, or is ready for an academic challenge, we're here to help them grow.

Meet the Owner
I am Keyla Andrades, the founder of Mavs Learning Lab!
Mavs Learning Lab is more personal to me than just a tutoring business—it was inspired by my son.
I earned my degree in Elementary Education and have experience working as an elementary teacher. During my time in the classroom, I saw firsthand that every child learns differently. Some students need extra time, some need a new way of explaining a concept, and some simply need someone to believe in them.
Those experiences inspired me to create Mavs Learning Lab: a learning space where children can receive personalized support, encouragement, and the confidence to grow.
I strive to make every session engaging and meaningful while helping students become more confident and independent learners.
As a mom, I know how much parents want their children to feel supported—not just academically, but as individuals. That's the heart behind Mavs Learning Lab.
